About me

I'm a DevOps and platform engineer with more than twenty years in IT, most of it in defense and national-security work. I came up through systems administration. Automation is where I started really enjoying it: builds that took six months came down to a few hours.

For the last decade it's been Kubernetes and containers in air-gapped, offline environments. People come to me for that, and for advice across a lot of other areas.

Away from the keyboard: sim racing, snowboarding, Lego and good food. Based in the DC area.
